Klir includes an AI feature that explains your transactions in plain English. Note the following limits:
- Informational only. AI explanations are for general understanding. They are not financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, and they are not a recommendation to do anything.
- It can be wrong. The explanations are generated automatically by a third-party AI model (Anthropic) and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. Always verify against your actual bank statement.
- Do not rely on it for decisions. Do not make financial decisions based only on an AI explanation. For advice about your specific situation, talk to a qualified professional.
- Read-only. The AI can only read and describe a transaction. It cannot move money or take any action on your account.
- Labeled. We mark AI-generated content in the app. By using the feature you understand these limits.
