Welcome to Klir, operated by JMM Technologies LLC (“we,” “us”). By using Klir at klirapp.com or in our app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Klir.
1. Who can use Klir
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use Klir. If you are under 18, please do not use Klir or send us your information.
2. What Klir is (and is not)
Klir is a read-only tool that connects to your financial accounts (through Plaid) to show and explain your money in plain English. Klir is not a bank, lender, broker, money transmitter, or financial advisor. It cannot move, send, hold, invest, or withdraw your money, and it does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Any explanations, including AI-generated ones, are for information only. See the AI Disclaimer.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping access to your login (a magic link sent to your email) secure and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at support@klirapp.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Third-party services
Klir relies on Plaid, your bank, and other providers. Your use of those services is also governed by their terms. We are not responsible for third-party services, your bank’s data, or interruptions outside our control.
5. Acceptable use
Do not misuse Klir: no attempting to access other users’ data, no reverse engineering, no automated scraping, no using it for anything unlawful.
6. Disclaimers
Klir is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the information shown is complete, accurate, or up to date, since it comes from your bank and third parties. Do not rely on Klir as your sole source for financial decisions.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, JMM Technologies LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any lost money, missed charges, or decisions made based on the app. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or $50 if you paid nothing).
8. Termination
You may stop using Klir and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you violate these Terms.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms and will post the new version with a new effective date. Continued use means you accept the changes.
